People working for a public and noble cause are very rare..and seeing someone in action really really good.
Pradeep Sudarshan,one of my colleagues is one of such rare kind. He spends some of his precious time in spreading awarness on Eye Pledging and Donation among people.A few days back he was on air for this noble cause.Radio City, Bangalore's popular FM Station featured his interview in a segment called Bangalore Inspires.
He was splendid and really inspiring and I am sure many would have made up their minds to pledge their eyes.I really appreciate him for being enthusiastic for a good cause.

I personally feel, being educated and being in this 'top-class' IT community and professionals, money is NOT the only thing in life. We have gained lot from soceity...so, why not we give back, when we are able to? Not money but something else...
So, hope every individual gets aware of this noble donation and act upon it so that many blind waiting to see their friends/folks/relatives and this world, are able to do so in their life!
Actually speaking,people think IT Community is a self-centered,money-minded one.Its time to break the myth!
